The drivers and passenger windows...bottom external weatherstip piece which
goes on bottom piece of window and up about 2 inches has been eaten by the
sun.  It looks like there is chrome under this piece.

Is this mainly comestic or do I really need to replace?  It looks ugly but
I'm ok with that as long as it doesn't serve some other purpose.
