Can anyone tell me what style connector the '84 and up vanagon
cable uses??  screw style or clip style.

Both my current '84 and my '85 have clip on speedometer cables.  However, I
used to have an '84 that had a screw on cable.  I don't know if my current
'84 was "Updated" by a previous owner or not.
