I replaced my speedo a couple of years agos with a brand new unit. I checked it aginst one of those speedometer test zones on a local highway here, and found the new unit to be "dead-on balls accurate". The old unit had always read 5 mph off. In other words I was actually doing less than the speedometer showed. Nowadays I can manage the truck lane most of the time, though some drivers get a little anxious if I don't move over rather quickly.
