If you have power locks, you need the key to lock them from either side. This is to avoid locking the keys inside. As trick you close the sliding door last. Ok, maybe this isnt an issue on most vanagon, or maybe it is, but how do you close your door as a passenger and lock it? Holding in the handle while closing doesnt work on either driver or passenger side from what I can tell. Is there some kind of secret to making this work? I know my baywindows always had that option, and im assuming they didnt remove it. So do I have faulty handles, or is there a trick im missing? thanks! airkooledchris
