Sorry volks, but I have yet another tire question...

Has anyone used Continental Vanco 8 tires on their Vanagon?

It's one of the few tires that are still available in 205R14C (and 185R14C),
but the sidewall rating of 109 has me worried that they'll be as stiff as
solid rubber.

It seems that tire choices for the stock alloys are getting slim.  I've had
more than one customer call me in desperation looking for tires that Lew
Schwab, Discount Tire, etc. told them didn't exist anymore.  So far, I've
always been able to source them, but it's getting tougher.

Anyone??
