Started driving Semi's in 1975, logged over 3 million miles (took a few years off, quit in driving 03), NOT EVEN ONE speeding ticket in the a truck! (had only 2 in my car) And NO accidents (driving)! I managed 9 trucks, "slip seating" (drove different truck, gives regular dirver time off) each week. All of our trucks were capable of "3 digits" (over 100mph) fastest was 132mph, drivers averaged 95mph. Speed does not kill, foolish drivers, and un-maintained equipment does!
