Those volks willing to consider a 205/70 R14 tire with a strength rating
of 95 (I believe that the original spec was 97 with the alloy
wheels--check the door sticker) might want to see if Pep Boys still
stock their "Eurometric" tires in that size. I bought a set from them
about 20 months ago for approximately $50/tire.
