hmmmm.... i know where there's a container load of vintage Type 1, 2, & 3 NOS parts form a defunct VW holding company. Even found whole sides of split screen and loaf buses. They were a bit too big for my luggage but I brought some Type 3 pieces. I am negotiating to purchase an early dune buggy type vehicle made by VW for rough country consumption. It's not a Thing or a Kubelwagen... It's something very basic. Can someone guess what it is? Is anyone up for doing something about this treasure trove of early aircooled parts? There were even some Brasilia pieces in the pile. No, they are not in Brazil. Other non-US vendors are trying to get their hands on these parts. I am in a position to snatch the deal if some enterprising listvendor wants to get involved. BenT ps: this has a 48 hour fuse on it.
