You can still get an OEM original VW supplied muffler from VW.
Old inventory or not they still have them.
Problem is nobody wants to pay the piper for the factory unit..
And as far as a FLAPS supplied muffler the Walker muffler has the
correct offset, right baffling, and is a quiet as the VW muffler.
One advantage to it is is guaranteed forever and it's only $79.00.
I've done this both ways.
Original , and after market.
I like the Walker muffler, and it's benefits.
