Hi all, Lars J. (91 Westy, 82 GL) is having problems with his 82. It seems to go through idle stabilizers. He can bypass the idle stabilizer and get it to run, but with it plugged in it is destroying the stabilizer. I had trouble once with my 81 Vanagon, but once I replaced the stabilizer the problem went away. What's killing these stabilizers? On behalf of Lars J., thanks.
