Dyer,
Stop using the impact wrench. Heat that area of the block and slowly
apply a tighten/loosen motion. Harbor Frieght has a decent heat gun dirt
cheap. Be careful; if you break off an easy-out, you-are-done! I know. They
are impossible to drill out.
