Could be worse: it could be Rush Limbaugh... All kidding aside, the best thing about satellite radio is that it removes censorship (for now). Perhaps we could all chip in and start a 24 hour Vanagon only radio station... KVGN! It would have 1 hour of music, 1 hour of news, and 22 hours of repair info. Is it Friday yet? "After repeated crossings with the Federal Communications Commission, Stern said in October he would leave Viacom's (Research) Infinity Broadcasting to host a show on Sirius (down $0.24 to $4.71, Research) beginning in 2006. The deal netted Stern a five-year, $500 million contract." So your subscription pays for this jerk to be on the air for the next five years. I've decided to cast my economic vote elsewhere. tim in san jose ----- Original Message ----- From: "jimt" <wetwesty@TACTICAL-BUS.INFO> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Thursday, November 11, 2004 10:16 PM Subject: Re: OT: Free satellite radio offer On 11/11/04 10:03 PM, "caverat" <caverat@COMCAST.NET> wrote: > FYI - Here's a free Sirius satellite radio offer and code that was posted on a > newsgroup. Was just researching them and xm out and was not liking the cash outlay with buying equipment as well. The offer worked with the email address as the referrer. ....................................... jimt Planned insanity is best.
