I thought this was a strange animal. I'll have to take a few pictures for everyone's perusal. Personally, I really liked the simplicity of this unit. It fits nicely under the rear seat/bed, but only has two outlets for cool air (and two inlets). Today, it's so cold in SF today that stealing AC systems is the last thing on their minds. The only AC systems I have seen are: 1) Overhead AC as found in rear of Westies 2) Overhead front only AC's (shaped like a H) 3) Behr in-dash units 4) Mark IV (aftermarket) underdash units 5) Late-style overhead with center tunnel 6) European Cooler Air BenT ps: cut & paste poptop conversions do not make a "syncro westy" as the poster asked, chris. =( On Sat, 20 Nov 2004 09:57:56 -0800, Mike Miller <mwmiller@cwnet.com> wrote: > That's 3 in storage building one, the overflow from the main underseat Behr > AC storage building. > > Guarded by a troop of deadly nubile maidens. > > Mike > > [hmm, maidens - BenT?] > > > > On 11/20/04 8:53 AM, "JordanVw@AOL.COM" <JordanVw@AOL.COM> wrote: > > > In a message dated 11/19/04 2:33:09 PM Eastern Standard Time, > > jeff@VANAGONPARTS.COM writes: > > > > > >> > >> I recently pulled a complete Behr A/C unit from under the rear seat on a '85 > >> Westy.
