Disconnect your O2 sensor and see if it still has the problem. Do you think the exhaust is rich? You can also try and put a digital voltmeter on the O2 sensor output with the sensor disconnected from the ECU. Voltage should be around 0.45VDC. On an 83.5 digijet, I would check the throttle switches. There's two switches that tell the position of closed throttle and WOT. I don't know what you would have on the 86 and older models. -- Craig On Tue, 23 Nov 2004 15:44:50 -0500, Jason Willenbrock <pooncerelli@hotmail.com> wrote: > hey all, > recently i have been experiencing very sluggish acceleration in first and > second gear on my 87 syncro westy. it is almost like hesitation in a way. > i have to ride the clutch just to keep my rpms up. where should i check? > valves? fuel pressure regulator? > i have new (used)icu, isv. i put new fuel filter. i checked for vacumn > leeks and found none. what else? > TIA > jason >
