Dear Tom,
I do not support profanity or foul language. I also
value the information I might get out of this list.
And I was hoping that other listmembers would maybe
benefit from my experience. But disciplining
adults,some with advanced degrees, because of the use
of the word "shit" in an email is ridiculous and
hypocritical. I value freedom of speech highly. More
highly than the information that I can get here. Time
to show some solidarity. (And I'm sorry, a listmanager
does not decide what matters to me, however useful his
voluntary service to the list may be)
