I agree with Jim.  Several times I've  been broken down and needing the help
that only a fellow vanagon owner could  give only to get useless remarks like:
"Oh dear, oh dear you hit a deer."   Fortunately I also got used parts and
good mechanical help from list members  that got me back on the road.  My
feeling is if you can't help a fellow  list member with his or her problem, keep
quiet.  IMHO there are some  people who waste the list's time with frivolous
posts.
