Check for a leaking outer head gasket or maybe even the water pump is dripping onto the cooler. It is rare for the cooler to fail externally. As for the oil cooler leaking oil from above, make sure the nut on the center pipe above the filter is tight. Also, it is common for the gasket between the cooler and the case to shrink and leak. The two hoses above the oil cooler are dry to the touch and were changed approximately two years ago. The sight lines make it difficult to determine exactly where the fluid is coming from. In the past I have had to excessively (my perception) tighten the oil filter in order to avoid an oil drip at he cooler. Any information concerning this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Alex
