I have to 205-70-R14's and they don't even fit under the front where the
spare goes. They are too large for the flip down carrier and shifting box
above it combination. That is why I think the 185 is put there. I bought
mine new with the alloy wheels (89) and the 185's is what was underneath as
the spare.
