Now everyone relax for one moment and try and savor this thought. For eons at this very place, parts and prices of such have been a thing to throw around, dispute, and have conflicting opinons about. For example; Mr. XYZ publishes out of the clear blue that he has a difibulator valve for a 2.1 89 Vanagon for sale and you all can buy it for $50.00. Ok. Then Mr. AMF publishes he has the same thing, in stock, for $48.00. A short time later Ken pops up and mentions in a casual way that he has the same for $47.50 And last but not the least Ron Salmon's message will appear and in a glorious announcement as long as the great wall of China and make mention he has a deal coming direct from the Fatherland on the same part for $29.99. It's a done deal. Nobodies feelings are hurt, nobody says a word. The great OZ of Vanagonland has spoken from behind his green curtain, and all are in awe, Ron sells some parts, and the first three guys are SOL. Now what has happened here is pretty much the same thing that transpired the other day, all except Kenny's feelings got hurt simply because someone remembered that he had mentioned this place where to buy electronic toys for your Vanagon, and passed this forgotten info on to the list. Why? Because there was no direct competition from another list vendor? Really ! This make absolutely no sense to me at all, and should have been no cause for a flame fest, arguments, dissension or disputes. This list amazes me. Nothing is consistent. RC
