Dave, The answer is mostly. Seat will bolt in, but the retaining pegs for the seat back are a couple inches off. BTDT. You can live with it, but and re-weld the pegs or find a folding back from a pre 86. If you have access to a grinder + welder I'd djust do that. john > I=B9m wondering if a rear fold down seat from a stock 86 westfalia will fit in > my 83 diesel vanagon?��Anyone have any ideas?
