I towed my 88 GL on a U-haul auto-transport trailer behind a 17 ft
U-haul van. No problems whatso ever. Towed it from Clinton, OK 80 miles
to the west side of Ok. City to Birmingham, AL in one long day. After
that, I don't think I would ever haul a Vanagon on a Dolly.
