I'm concerned my '87 Westy's 4 speed transmission
is dying. Can anyone tell me which ones are identical?
Do the 1.9 transmissions have all the same ratios as the
2.1 transmissions?

Also, when did the 3/4 slider fix start to come from
the factory? Is there a date code on prospective
transmissions I can look for?

Thanks for any help,
