A plan I like is to INSTALL the spare (new) belt. Keep the used one as a spare.Make sure it is good enough to get you home, of course. This somewhat reduces the chances that you will ever need it. Al Brase Done this very thing a month ago but only after mine broke ona dark night on the freeway!!! Great plan!! Sam
