Hi Jonathan, I purchased my fuel clamps from Volkscafe. They were .70 each. They will not cut the fuel lines because the edges are rolled slightly. I have no interest in Volkscafe (although as much money as I have spent there I ought to!). http://volkscafe.com/main.jsp?pa=p&p=1860358319&pct=619321103&ct=521787257 Warren Lail 88 Westy "Billy Bones" "Well, mother was upstairs and father and I was laying the breakfast table against the captain's return when the parlour door opened and a man stepped in on whom I had never set my eyes before. He was a pale, tallowy creature, wanting two fingers of the left hand, and though he wore a cutlass, he did not look much like a fighter. I had always my eye open for seafaring men, with one leg or two, and I remember this one puzzled me. He was not sailorly, and yet he had a smack of the sea about him too." ------------------------------Original message: >>>Date: Wed, 15 Dec 2004 20:31:17 -0600 From: Jonathan Poole <jfpoolio@GMAIL.COM> Subject: new years resolution - continue to own a non-burnt van I have been planning to replace the fuel lines on my '82 a.c. in early January also.. I have heard about how low the quality of replacement lines can be, and how some clamps cut into the lines. I wish to avoid poor quality but can't remember where to get good lines and good clamps for my replacement job. I will be ordering from an online source and will be doing all of the engine lines, and possibly the tank lines as well. I know there are some vendors on this list, and don't want to create any trouble, I just want to do the job right, and with the right parts so if anyone knows of a high-quality fuel line source (reasonably priced too if possible) let me know. Thanks Jonathan Poole<<
