Hello all, I have been waiting for the server to finally add me to the list
and here I am.

Background:

-I have been an avid member of the Type II list for some time. I have just
moved from North Carolina to Texas. I needed a daily driver and my Westy
wasn't ready. I looked around and came across a new begining.

I bought an '85 Vanagon GL. So far I have been very impressed with this
beast. I had never driven one before. I have driven many buses; bays,
splittys, westys, manuals, autos, etc. But wow I really like what I am
cruising now. But as all used rides you buy the problems are inheritted.
This will lead me the next post.

Just thought I would say hi,
