I found the water tank drain cap at Bus Depot under part number 253067285
for $15.95.

The description is as follows:

For fresh water tank in Vanagon Westfalia Camper, thru mid-1987 (thru #
J00001 on metal Westfalia tag on rear seat; J00075 in Canada)
