I have an 82 and an 83 and neither has a second handle.  Will take a closer
look at my vans door tomorrow in the light because when I bought the van
there was a second interior handle under the rear seat and I just thought it
was a spare.  I recently repaneled that door and don�t remember anywhere to
put a second handle though.
