Well, we made it to north platte Nebraska today, and so far so good. We didn't try to leave minnesota on the 1st as there was just too much freezing rain, and even today when heading south on the 35W there was plenty of black ice and cars flipped over in the ditches. Not getting that great of gas milage, probably around 16mpg, and im sure due to running the BA6 and keeping it around 70 mph. used about a 1/4 of a quart of oil today. only complication was the wiper fluid shafts needing to be re-aimed to adjust for highway speeds. at highway speeds the drivers side fluid doesnt hardly make it onto any part of the glass. I tried a number of different angles, and im guessing that one somehow has less pressure, as the best I could do on that side was about 1'' up into the wiper area. the passenger side is prefect, and unfortunately cannot be reaimed over far enough to hit the drivers side. oh well, havent needed the fluid since leaving minnesota. and I desperately need a carwash, holy salt batman!!! not sure where we'll be tomorrow, but hopefully at least 600 miles closer. aircooled chris ----- Original Message ----- > well, im in minnesota and need to get to northern california.
