Scarey idea isn't it??? I may be speaking out of turn here, because I have not done it, but it has been done by list members many times, and I think there is a web site that shows the steps. The biggerst difficulty as I gather from all my reading, is that it take a bit of time - all day project, and it must be done methodically. Beyond that, it's not that big of a task. Mechanical experience or not, this is one job I don't think I would want to farm out to a shop or a garage. It will cost you a small fortune to go that direction. I'm sure there are list members who can point you in the direction of pictures of this procedure on the internet somewhere. C'mon list members! Pony up!! Just words of encouragement, Warren. Go for it. John Rodgers 88 GL Driver
