I've had this thought myself. Absolutely nothing but fiberglas, willing
and able to crack at the slightest contact. Totally California Bolt-on!
(or is that Californicated?)
If I wanted to inflict such pain on myself, I'd take the HEAVY CHROME
bumpers off my old Corvette and practice my parallel parking blindfolded!

How about just plugging the holes with some plastic plugs. Glue em in
with silly cone.
