Subject:Re: Is this battery charger any good?

I just purchased an identical model sold under another name by Batterymart
after a great deal of research and agonizing over a 24/7 charger for my
mostly garaged westy. I recently lost a starter battery prematurely to
disuse. I liked the specs for the money. It happens to go for 10 bucks less
than the source you found.

This same charger is sold elsewhere under the Soneil brand, a better known
name. Batterymart also sells this model with a fixed clamp harness and
without the lug harness option.

Too soon to say how it will work for me. -Phil

I want to be able to keep the battery topped up on my TriStar during the
cold season when I have the block heater plugged in so I can have a fighting
chance to start the warm motor with a cold battery. Is there a better
battery charger than this one?
