Me too tunajuice. I got those bull bar bumpers and both ends have the receiver. Even though the rear usually occupies the spare, I can carry that in the luggage rack and put bikes on both ends, with "hitch" mount-type carriers. I've only used the front one once for this but it's so convenient. bob -------------- Original message -------------- > Thanks to all that replied, > > The French-Canadian site was very interesting - especially after translation > (you have to love google). > I think splitting the weight (two bikes up front, two bikes in the back), is > the way to go for me > > Now anyone out there have a source for a front rack? > > Thanks, > > Tunajuice > > '85 Weekender > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Jean-Pierre Le Cruguel" > To: > Sent: Sunday, January 16, 2005 8:46 AM > Subject: bike carrier 2 > > > > Here is a good page (in French unfortunately) that summarize different > > options. > > http://mononc.free.fr/VanagonInfo/RackVanagon/SupportVelos.htm > > > > You can use Google to translate: > > > http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://mononc.free.fr/Vanago > nInfo/RackVanagon/SupportVelos.htm&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhttp://mononc.free.fr/Vana > gonInfo/RackVanagon/SupportVelos.htm%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D > > > > > > -- > > No virus found in this outgoing message. > > Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. > > Version: 7.0.300 / Virus Database: 265.6.13 - Release Date: 2005-01-16
