So i tried out the cleaned injectors, hoping for the
final fix to the lean off-idle hesitation.  Better,
but not a cure.  It definitely idles better, and pulls
more strongly, but i still have some more thinking to
do.  I guess i'll check for some vacuum leaks again
(or something).

Anyway, i still think it was a good thing to do for 20
year old injectors (pretty amazing little machines!).
