Mine usually lasts 2-3 weeks, including using the stove. But one time
when I needed to fill it up in Mazatlan, it turned into such a wild
goose chase I put a second tank on the van.

Hombres at the propane stations were very adamant that their propane was
NOT for cooking with, something to do with additives. Wasn't completely
convinced, but I had a couple of guys go out of their way to direct me
to a dirt lot with a couple of huge propane tanks, where people went to
fill up their BBQ "bombs" - the 5 gal. tanks. Seemed to be the only
place in Mazatlan (a city of 500,000?) to fill up propane tanks.

Cheers,
 Jeff

On a full tank the fridge will run continuously for 2 weeks or more in
warm weather. In cooler weather even longer. Your 10 day trip should be
no problem at all. Propane is available in Baja in any larger town.
There is a propane fill station on the highway between San Ignacio and
Santa Rosalia, closer to Santa Rosalia.
