Subject: How to add photos to a group message posting?

SOS: This is the error message I am receiving from the Vanagon's list:

Your posting to the vanagon list has been rejected because it only contains
attachments which are disallowed by the list configuration. Even though the
list is configured to remove unwanted attachments and process the remaining
text, in this case there would be nothing left after removing the unwanted
data.

I need/want to send the group a photo to explain myself.

I see others do it, what's the secret?
