Joel, I know that I have coolant leaking because I am losing it out of the tank and I can see little puddles on the ground. I have only taken short little trips around town since having the water pump replaced. I will inspect more closely where exactly the leak is coming from. It seems to be coming off the square piece with ridges, but I think it is coming from higher up. It seems to be dripping in the middle or maybe a little bit left of the middle. I also notice that when I turn the rear heater I smell the coolant burning (maple syrup type smell) and when I turn it off it goes away. I think the heater core is a good possibility but I am at work and don't have a screwdriver large enough to take off the cover to the heater. There doesn't seem to be any coolant on the floor though. As to the rest of your suggestions I thank you and I will purchase the books and begin my reading. Thanks to everyone for all the suggestions and don't be afraid to offer more. Mike
