This is off topic, but the e-mails from east-coasters ridiculing my last post as exaggerated fiction leave me no choice but to defend my honor and that of all syncronauts on the west coast. I searched in vain for a pic from the aforementioned corral to prove it was real, but no luck. Instead, i found a pic on the web from the following year, when instead of an old west themed camp, Roland had an ancient Greece themed camp. Remarkably, the sculpture looks just as at home in a corral in the old west as it does in ancient Athens. But instead of a scantily clad woman, there is a winged fairy riding it in this photo: http://www.syncro.org/sitephotos/BMpenis.jpg (caution, not safe for viewing by followers of Jerry Falwell or Collin Powell, Jr.) On the tech side, the sculpture has a commercial grade paper vibrator inside of it....used to straighten and stack large paper stock. It's like the old motel beds with "magic fingers," except lot more powerful. Anyway, i'm tired of everyone calling us californians "crazies" and "nuts," especially two balding, overweight guys from Cambridge. We're perfectly normal people. Burningman is just a big backyard BBQ picnic for 35,000 people held in the desert, that's all. Of course you will find syncronauts there. Hey Steve, how ya doin'? I've got my tickets already ! And two day's ago I got to talking to my buddy at work, telling him he really ought to go, and, by golly the very next day, he emails me telling me he just bought two tickets ! I'm proud of imm !!! I'm always on the look out for list stickers, so, hope to see you all there !!! I'll be the bald headed old man in the florescent, Hot pink tutu !!!! Nothing else on (of course ;o) John C. SLC, UT 85 burning bus !!!!
