Sorry for the quasi-Vanagon content, but a recent post reminded me of a link
someone provided here on the Vanagon List a few years ago that removed
unneccessary characters from long URL's (so they can be put into emails
without line breaks). This was NOT a redirect service like tinyurl. It kept
the original domain but just stripped out any unneeded referral, session, or
other info to make it shorter. I tried searching the archives but can't find
the post. Tried googling it and couldn't find it either. Does anyone
remember what the link was?
