Can anyone tell what vehicle a vdo 1540 speedometer belongs to?
I was given a VW/AUDI VDO 1540 speedometer in a box with the part
number 533 957 033 M, with clip-on style cable connector. I don't know for a fact that this even the correct
box for the speedometer. It's a great working speedometer in excellent condition,
but does not fit a vanagon instrument cluster. No part number is listed on the
speedometer itself. Thanks.
