Based on my experiences with my 2001 New Beetle TDI and listening to my friends who also own new or newer VWs, Volskwagen does need to revamp its service departments into caring and reponsive CUSTOMER service centers. On a Vanagon-related note, I feel VW made a huge mistake by cancelling the Microbus. With just a mild restyle the Microbus would have attracted hoardes of people, some of whom drive a Vanagon, proving its unversal appeal once again. I, for one, would have gladly "upgraded" to a Microbus Westfalia. ===== Chris S. '84 Westy -> http://www.knology.net/~vwghost/hershey/ '01 NB TDI -> http://www.knology.net/~vw/Beetle.jpg
