After just returning from an uneventful trip in our Westy (VW problem-wise that is) to Las Vegas from the Central CA coast, I can see that "bigger is not always better". On our trip down to Vegas, we saw about 4 single car rollover accidents on Highway 15 going into Vegas - all big SUV's, but one. Today, we saw another single car rollover with a Suburban on the same highway coming home and there was evidently a fatality in this accident. Sometimes after seeing things like this, it's nice to just take your time driving and leave all the fast flyers to the fast lanes. Maybe it's a blessing not to be able to drive 90 miles per hour. By the way, didn't see hardly any Vanagons to and from or in Vegas. We maybe saw 4 or so the whole trip. Sharon & Bob Mendonca 88 Westy 88 Vanagon GL
