I was at my local VW dealer today and for no reason at all I noticed a
Ford 1 ton van leaving the premises with the dealer's logo on the side
of it.

Upon entering the parts department I inquired why oh why they were using
a FOMCO, and not a Eurovan.

The answer?

"What, are you crazy?"
"One of them things would eat us alive in repairs, and parts"
"We have 4 of the Fords at out 3 facilities
all with over 200k on them."
Hmm.
Interesting  I think.
VW themselves have no faith in their own vehicles.
Not very inspiring.
