Also check the intake snorkel assembly.  These are exactly the symptoms of
a collapsed (or lining collapsed) intake tube.  The van will slowly
accelerate to 55mph, and probably really slow down on hills?  The quick
check is to remove the air intake tube from your air cleaner box and go for
a blast.
