It looks like no one has responded. That sleeve was part of the plastic tube. The tube has failed allowing the sleeve and the flare for the hose to grip to come out. The tube should be replaced. That sleeve prevents the tube from deforming as the clamp is tightened. I was able to reattach the hose by reaching in front of the RR tire, filled up with water/antifreeze and made it home.It looks like the hose is good, but it is attached to a very long plastic hose that runs to the radiator. The hose (it goes over the tranny) has a reducer, looks like brass sleeve, which goes into the long plastic return line. Do I have the wrong hose? Do I need the reducer? Should I just yank this brass sleeve and clamp down to the plastic feed/return line?
