I'm looking at the pics of this sharp 85 and wondering about the
mechanism for folding the rear seat into a bed.

first of all, moving side to side, that rear bench is much flatter
than the bench in my 84.  this is very desireable from a sleeping
standpoint (yes, as a matter of fact i am too cheap for a westy).

my next thought was that it would be great to swap a seat like that in
to mine as an upgrade, but then i wondered, is it even the same
folding mechanism?  the way mine folds is a pain in the ass, frankly,
so i i would love to upgrade on both counts.  so, it possible to find
a flat seat like that in tan to match my 84 upholstry, and swap it
out?
