I disconnected the o2 sensor on a hot engine and turned it on.  Then I put a
voltage meter (positive to sensor wire, negative to ground) on the o2 sensor
wire and measured to voltage output from the sensor.  This needs to
fluctuate around .5 (so I've been told).  Mine had previously been too
high, but is now in spec.
