I was trying to figure that out but, like most all else, it's smarter than me. I think that's the first "mid-engine" V8 vanagon I've ever seen. Made me wonder what they did with all the cable and line routing to access the tranny, clutch, brakes, etc.? I suppose cooling could be even a little better with the slightly shorter distance? Sure does use up a lot of space, but leaves the rear almost like a trunk. Looks like the sliding door will barely close, too. Air cleaner interference? Also looks like there are marks on the floor for more cut-outs (white). I suppose the "trunk" is where the new fuel tank will go. What a project! ;) bob ----- Original Message ----- From: <JordanVw@AOL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Sunday, March 20, 2005 4:35 PM Subject: Re: [syncro.org] Neat Stuff MVC (Mucho Vanagon Content) > In a message dated 3/20/05 2:35:01 PM Eastern Standard Time, > mtbiker62@HOTMAIL.COM writes: > > > > this seems to work better: > > > > http://tinyurl.com/3v6t2 > > > > > > work better to shear your rear axles? rip the spotwelds out the the body? > i > like it!!! :<) > > what engine is that anyway? > > chris >
