Subject:Re: Idle stabilizer for 81 Calif Vanagon (was hall unit)

Hi Ron,

I'll pass the information along. At that price it makes sense to just get a
new one.

But about the connectors. Does anyone have any non-broken Idle Stabilizer
connectors they're willing to part with? Stan? Chris?

Thanks.

Warren

p.s. that old 81 Westy now has almost 190,000 miles on an AVP rebuild and
it still runs strong. I can only hope that my recent 2.1 AVP rebuild will
hold up that well. I'm at 21,000 miles and counting.

These units are relatively inexpensive new.

This crosses from the 171 part number that you mentioned. The page also
lists which other vehicles take the same unit.
