I feel the same way, but with the Vanagon getting 19-20mpg and the TDI Golf getting 48-55, it's easy to let the Westy rest. That is (of course) until we'll be camping along the way. Then the Golf get a much deserved rest! When the time comes, the westy gets a TDI or 1.9TD. Better start saving now, I guess...
