hi all, A few days ago, my 87 vanagon began running incredibly cold (or so the needle sayeth). I found out a wire on my coolant temp sensor frayed and I spliced it by twisting the wires and soldering them. Will this affect the resistance and alter the temp display? thanks! Alan
